With an aim to support existing ESDM ecosystemand attract global Electronics manufactures with their supply chains, the EMC will be developed with world class common infrastructure and facilities like Ready Built Factories (RBF) sheds, warehousing facility, Employee Hostel, Fire Station, Medical Facility, Business Complex, Plug & Play Facility, etc. as per the guidelines of Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMC 2.0) Scheme, notified by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The proposed EMC is well connected by rail, road and air with the National Capital Region. Proximity to well-developed Multi Modal Logistics Park (MLLP), Inland Container Depot (ICD) and Amritsar Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC) provides an edge for logistics.

SIIDCUL being the State Implementing Agency (SIA) for the EMC, has submitted the application under EMC 2.0 scheme of MeitY, GoI which is due for approval.
